Our Documents

In any field of endeavor, there are documents which reveal what it's about.  Feel free to examine these, for that is why we put them here.  Not all-inclusive, but revealing.  More to come.

Principles of Wiccan Belief as adopted in 1974 by the American Council of Witches.  Even though the organization no longer exists, this part of their legacy is one is generally accepted as basic principles which we have in common.  If there can be anything like a statement of basic doctrine, this would be it.

Principles of the Norse and Asatru as expressed in A Book of Troth by Edred Thorsson.  There are Wiccans who follow a Norse/ Germanic path, but there are those who follow such a path who do not consider themselves Wiccans or Witches.

The Wiccan Rede to a Wiccan, probably as basic and universal a statement of Wiccan principles as can be found.  There are some variations in text, but the principles, spirit and sense remain the same.

The Charge Of The Goddess is followed by many on the Wiccan path, and revered by all on the Wiccan path.  It is generally attributed to Doreen Valiente, a student of Gerald Gardner.
